3 separate Brooklyn Park shots fired reports within 3 hours leaves 1 injured
Brooklyn Park police responded to three separate gunfire reports within three hours late Monday night into Tuesday morning, with one incident ending in injury.
Police say officers went to the 7100 block of 72nd Lane around 11:30 p.m. Monday for a person who had been shot.
At the scene, officers found a man who had been shot during an argument.
He was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The Hennepin County Sheriff’s office has processed the scene, and police say the shooter wasn’t found.
Another report was received around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday for the 8300 block of Zane Avenue North. Officers say they didn’t find victim, but the back of the garages at Kensington Place Apartments had three bullet holes.
The third call came in after 1 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say they were called to reports of shots being fired on the 5800 block of 73rd Avenue North. Police found evidence of shots fired, but no victim or property damage.
No suspects have been found for any of the three incidents.
Police did not immediately say if the events were related.
All of the incidents are still being investigated.
