Work begins on Lake Mallalieu Bridge in St. Croix Co.
Construction crews have begun work on the Lake Mallalieu Bridge in Wisconsin’s St. Croix County.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, work includes putting a polymer overlay on the bridge, which carries WIS 35 and separates the city of Hudson with the village of North Hudson.
Work started Monday, and officials say it is expected to take four days to finish, but work is weather dependent.
The bridge will be open to one lane of traffic in each direction.
