Woman hit by SUV in Lakeville, hospitalized

A woman was hospitalized Monday night after she was struck by an SUV while crossing a street.

Lakeville police say it happened on 175th Street at Honeysuckle Avenue at around 7:20 p.m.

The 46-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital by ambulance, according to police.

Officials say the driver of the SUV stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.

The crash remains under investigation.
