Woman arrested after ‘trashing’ West St. Paul Target
A woman was arrested Tuesday morning after damaging products throughout a Target store in West St. Paul.
According to West St. Paul Police, officers responded to 1750 Robert Street South at around 9:45 a.m. after receiving a report of a woman “trashing” the store.
Officers found Target staff evacuating the store for safety purposes as a woman inside was actively damaging electronics products. She was taken into custody for property damage and disorderly conduct.
Police said the woman apparently came into the store and started throwing and damaging products at random for an unknown reason. She also utilized store merchandise, including golf clubs, to cause extensive damage throughout the store.
No injuries were reported.
Police said the store remained closed Tuesday afternoon in order for employees to clean up.
