Victim of Polk County, Wis. crash identified as 21-year-old man from rural St. Croix Falls
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man who died in a two-vehicle crash on Sunday in Eureka, Wisconsin.
A Wednesday press release identifies the man as 21-year-old William J. Wagner from rural St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.

Wagner was said to have died at the scene of the crash after he was ejected from his car as it rolled and struck a boulder in the ditch of County Road G.
As previously reported, the occupants of the SUV involved in the crash made it out of their vehicle before it was “consumed” by fire. The sheriff has not provided any further details on the SUV occupants or any injuries they might have suffered.
