Uptown’s Chino Latino closing after 20 years

An Asian-fusion restaurant in Uptown Minneapolis is closing its doors for good after 20 years.

Chino Latino announced Monday that it is closing, effective immediately.

According to Parasole Restaurant Holdings, Chino Latino’s closing was part of "steps required for Parasole to emerge from the pandemic healthier than ever."

The company added that a range of factors contributed to the decision, including the dramatically changing hospitality and retail scene in Uptown.

Parasole also runs Pittsburgh Blue, Manny’s Steakhouse, Salut and Good Earth restaurants.
