This weekend, Twin Cities Con is taking over the Convention Center.
Akin to ‘Comic Con,’ the first annual event centers around the love for pop culture, media and comic books.
"It’s a way that you can kind of feel good about getting out, hanging out with your friends, wearing your cool costumes, and just having fun and doing live events again," Ben Penrod, founder of Twin Cities Con, said.
People are dressing up in costume and vendors are selling their unique art, toys and games.
Proof of vaccination for COVID-19 or a negative test is required to attend.
