Tallest man in US dies at age 38 in Rochester

Igor Vovkovinskiy, of Rochester, known as the tallest man in the United States has died.
Vovkovinskiy was 7 feet 8 inches. He had a condition called pituitary gigantism. At 6-years-old, he was 6 feet.
He moved from Ukraine to Rochester to be treated at Mayo Clinic.
His mother said he died from heart disease while surrounded by his family.
He was 38 years old.
