State Patrol investigating late night, 5-vehicle crash in Minneapolis

Multiple vehicles were damaged in a crash late Monday night in Minneapolis.

Southbound traffic on I-35W was limited to a single lane around 11 p.m. Monday after a crash near 24th Street involving five vehicles.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, troopers were called to the area around 10:30 p.m.

Authorities didn’t say how many people were injured, but said the injuries caused by the crash weren’t considered to be life-threatening, and only one vehicle’s occupants were taken to an area hospital.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
