Rochester man sentenced to 17 years in prison for producing child porn
A Rochester man was sentenced Tuesday to 17 years (204 months) in prison plus 25 years of supervised release for producing child pornography via Snapchat.
According to court documents, charges against 26-year-old Arkady Pavlovich Pichurin stemmed from a search of several of Pichurin’s devices that began in December 2020. The 60 charges spanned across five separate cases, Hubbard Broadcasting sister station KAAL-TV reported at the time.
He previously pleaded not guilty for the majority of charges, entering a guilty plea for one count of producing sexually explicit images and videos of a minor.
In addition to his sentence, Pichurin has been ordered to pay $5,000 to the Domestic Trafficking Victims Fund.
The case was the result of an investigation conducted by the FBI and the Rochester Police Department, with assistance from the Olmsted County Attorney’s Office.
