Residents and staff at long-term care facility celebrate 2nd COVID-19 vaccine doses with ‘Wizard of Oz’ theme

Residents and staff at The Waters of White Bear Lake celebrated receiving their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine with a ‘Wizard of Oz’ theme.

At The Waters, staff dressed in character, there were backdrops for taking photos and there was even a harpist performing.

"The Waters mission is to create a sense of community where residents and team members can thrive and we’re just so super excited for the residents and staff members to start thriving again," said Vivian Nguyen, executive director of The Water of White Bear Lake.

People receiving the vaccine followed a yellow brick road to the vaccination area.
