Fire officials say no one was reported injured following a morning fire in Minneapolis.
According to the Minneapolis Fire Department, crews were called to a building on the 3600 block of 44th Street East shortly after 6 a.m. Tuesday.
When they arrived, they found smoke coming from the roof line and garage doors of the vacant building, which was identified as a Public Works warehouse building for the city.
The fire was quickly extinguished, and officials say there was minimal fire extension to the building.
No one was found at the scene after a search was done.
Officials add the building has had reports of being used as shelter by homeless community members, and there were signs the building had been broken into. Firefighters put boards back on the building.
The cause is still being investigated.
