Police searching for suspects who threw eggs at homes, vehicles in Kenyon

Police in Kenyon say they're searching for the suspect or suspects who threw eggs at homes and vehicles.

Kenyon Police said it received one report Monday on Washington Street and another report Tuesday on Spring Street regarding eggs being thrown at a property.

The incident on Washington Street happened Sunday evening after 10:30 p.m., and the owner reported hearing a full-size vehicle with a loud exhaust in the area at the time, police said. The incident on Spring Street was found Tuesday but could've happened Sunday evening also.

The incidents have been going on for "quite some time and it's only a matter of time before some serious damage to property occurs," police said.

The department also said the incidents appear to be random but officers are working to catch those responsible as soon as possible.

Anyone with information that could help police is asked to call dispatch at 651-385-3155 and ask for the officer on duty. Police said anyone with tips can remain anonymous.
