Police, FBI investigating robbery of ATM technician in Edina

Local and federal authorities are investigating a robbery that took place in Edina Friday afternoon.

According to Edina police, an ATM technician was robbed at U.S. Bank on West 50th Street just after 2:30 p.m.

The four men took an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled in two SUVs — one blue, one silver.

Officers later found both SUVs near 50th Street and Dale Drive, police say, but they fled.

The driver of the blue SUV was arrested and taken to Hennepin County Jail. However, the other three other suspects and the silver SUV are still missing.
