Police: 2 bicyclists injured after vehicle involved in crash rolls, hits them at intersection

Police say two people are recovering from serious injuries following a crash late Saturday morning in Plymouth.

According to Plymouth Police, officers were called to the intersection of Fernbrook Lane and Schmidt Lake Road around 11 a.m. for a report of a crash involving two vehicles.

After the crash happened, officials say one of the vehicles rolled over, and hit two adults who were on their bicycles, and were stopped on a corner of the intersection.

Police identified the adults as a man and a woman, and say they were taken to North Memorial for their injuries.

Their current condition wasn’t immediately provided.

Plymouth police said Monday morning two people who were in the SUV that rolled were hospitalized for minor injuries. Meanwhile, two people who were in the second involved vehicle weren’t injured.
