Over 150 crashes reported across Minnesota since Wednesday night, says State Patrol
The Minnesota State Patrol reports over 150 crashes occurred across the state since Wednesday night.
From 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 a.m., 155 crashes were reported. Eighteen of them involved an injury, with two of them being serious in Olmsted County and Edina.
A total of 163 vehicles either spun out or went off the road during the time span, and four semis jackknifed.
Some freezing rain falling throughout the day Wednesday and temperatures dropping into Thursday morning made roads slick and snow-covered by morning.
