MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell is running for chair of Republican National Committee

MyPillow CEO and political activist Mike Lindell is running for chair of the Republican National Committee, he confirmed to 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS.
According to Lindell, the RNC will vote for a new chair in January. The RNC’s current chairwoman is Ronna McDaniel.
Lindell is a prominent supporter of former president Donald Trump and continues to dispute the results of the 2020 election.
In 2021, Dominion Voting Systems filed a $1.3 billion defamation lawsuit against Lindell, saying he falsely accused them of rigging the 2020 presidential election.
Lindell was also suspended from Twitter in 2021 after he repeatedly claimed that Donald Trump won the 2020 presidential election.
