MPD investigating suspicious death in Seward neighborhood
Minneapolis police are investigating a suspicious death in the city’s Seward neighborhood.
According to Minneapolis police, officers were called to a report of a man slumped over in a vehicle near East 24th Street and 34th Avenue South just before 4 p.m. Thursday.
There, officers found a man inside a parked vehicle and determined he was already dead.
Officers noted that the vehicle had apparent damage from gunfire.
While preliminary information suggested the man died from an overdose, police said they’re investigating it as a suspicious death.
