Motorcyclist that died in Dakota County accident identified

A 38-year-old man from Hastings died on June 4 after a motorcycle accident in Vermillion Township, officials say.

A Hennepin County Medical Examiner report said James Orth was declared dead on the scene of 190th Street East and Northfield Boulevard at 12:30 a.m. on June 4.

Orth’s cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries from the motorcycle crash.
