MnDOT to close a number of I-94 ramps in Maple Grove, Rogers Sept. 9-11

Drivers traveling on I-94 in Maple Grove and Rogers can expect a handful of ramp closures starting Friday, Sept. 9.

From 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9 through 9 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, the following ramps will close:

• The ramp from eastbound I-94 to eastbound I-694.

• The loop and ramp from Weaver Lake Road to eastbound I-94.

• The ramp from westbound I-94 to Hennepin Co. Rd. 81/Hwy 101.  Note: The flyover ramp from westbound I-94 to northbound Highway 101 will be open.

There will be posted detour routes, and MnDOT suggests planning ahead and allowing extra time on the roads.

The closure is due to crews repairing pavement and updating traffic sensor systems as part of the I-94 Maple Grove to Clearwater project. For more information on the project CLICK HERE.
