Missing person found dead in Crow Wing County lake

A man who was reported missing has been found dead.

The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office says it responded to a missing person report at around 12:42 p.m. Sunday in Pequot Lakes.

As authorities searched the area, which was near Bass Lake, they found a body.

Several agencies responded and worked to recover the body.

The sheriff’s office says the body was recovered and determined to belong to 22-year-old Trenton Riley Robertson.

Robertson’s death is under investigation and an autopsy has been scheduled.
