Minnesota elementary teacher quickly impresses as contestant on ‘The Bachelor’
A Minnesota elementary school teacher quickly impressed and received some praise from fans after joining ABC’s "The Bachelor" on Monday night.
Michelle Young, from Edina, was one of five contestants who arrived on the show a few episodes into this season.
The 27-year-old Young is a former Division I basketball player for Bradley University in Peoria, Ill. and also starred at Woodbury High School, where she set the school’s single-season scoring record her senior season, earning several local and nationwide accolades along the way.
Her bachelorette biography states she’s focused on preparing her students to be the next generation of community leaders but joined the show because she’s "ready to find love and a man with whom to start a family."
You can watch Young on "The Bachelor" on Monday nights at 7 p.m. on ABC.
