Minneapolis police searching for missing woman
The Minneapolis Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a woman who has been missing since Wednesday.
Police are looking for 20-year-old Alexis Ida Whitehawk-Ruiz, also known as Lexi, who was last seen in the 2400 block of Irving Ave. North around 8 p.m. Wednesday evening.
She is described as 5-foot-3-inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds. She has shoulder-length curly brown hair and often wears it in a bun, according to information from police. Both of her ears have been pierced twice. She also has a dimple on her left cheek.
She was last seen wearing a gray pullover sweater, camouflage yoga pants and black Bearpaw boots.
Police say she is also known to use public transportation and rideshare services. She also is known to spend time at a house in the 1400 block of Spruce Place in Minneapolis.
