Man seriously injured in late-night Minneapolis shooting, suspect still at-large
Minneapolis police say a man is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was shot late Monday night.
According to police, officers were called to the 500 block of Knox Avenue North just before 10 p.m. after a ShotSpotter was activated.
When officers arrived, they found an unconscious man sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle. The only details provided by police about the man are that he is in his 20s and he was taken to Hennepin Healthcare after lifesaving efforts were provided.
As of this time, no one has been arrested for the shooting. However, police say people who were in the area at the time of the shooting tell them a vehicle left the area after shots were fired. Witnesses also told police that a male ran from the same area.
Police didn’t immediately provide any description of a suspect or suspect vehicle.
