Man killed in Brooklyn Park crash identified
A Maple Grove man died Sunday morning when his vehicle was hit by a another vehicle that was fleeing police.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim Tuesday as 57-year-old Daniel Joseph Fisher.
The crash happened shortly before 7:20 a.m. at the intersection of Bottineau Boulevard and Brooklyn Boulevard in Brooklyn Park.

According to Brooklyn Park police, Osseo police notified officers that a vehicle had fled from them at a high rate of speed and was heading south on County Road 81 into Brooklyn Park. A short time later, police learned the vehicle crashed into another vehicle.
Fisher was pronounced dead at the scene and the passenger in his car was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, police said.
The driver of the suspect vehicle, 22-year-old Adam Hunter Pattishall, was arrested. He faces charges of criminal vehicular homicide, criminal vehicular operation and third-degree criminal possession of narcotics after officers found 12.6 grams of a substance that tested positive for methamphetamine and fentanyl, according to a Hennepin County criminal complaint.

Pattishall’s first court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday.
