Man flown to hospital after motorcycle crash in Pierce County, Wisconsin

A man was ejected from his motorcycle during a crash on Saturday afternoon in Spring Lake Township, according to a release by the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said it was notified of a single-motorcycle crash at 2:43 p.m. on County Road B near 770th Avenue.

Law enforcement learned a 70-year-old man from Roberts, Wis. drove his 2006 Harley-Davidson off the road while going around a curve.

He then struck the guardrail and went into the ditch, where he was ejected, according to the sheriff.

The man was flown to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with “undetermined injuries,” the sheriff said.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Spring Valley Police Department, Spring Valley Area Ambulance Service, Spring Valley Fire Department, Elmwood Fire Department, Life Link Helicopter and Wisconsin State Patrol.
