Man dies after Mahnomen County crash

One man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Mahnomen County just before noon on Thursday.
An incident report from the Minnesota State Patrol says a 68-year-old man died after a Jeep Grand Cherokee he was driving struck a guardrail and entered a ditch before coming to rest in a small pond.
The crash reportedly happened at 11:57 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 113 and 173rd Avenue, east of Waubun in Lake Grove Township.
The driver’s identity is expected to be released at noon on Friday.
