Loring Park Art Festival to return this summer
A popular Minneapolis art festival plans to return this summer.
The Loring Park Art Festival plans to return July 31 and Aug. 1.
The two-day festival will feature a lineup of 140 juried artists. COVID-19 mitigation protocols will also be implemented for safety.
"The safety of our guests, artists and partners is paramount," said Pat Parnow, the festival founder. "We are working closely within the guidelines set forth by the CDC and the State of Minnesota, and we are strategizing and sharing best practices with art festival leaders locally and nationally. Our message for today is: ‘Mark your calendars for the weekend of July 31 and Aug. 1.’"
Festival organizers said it will have a new layout this year, with more open spaces and individual artist booths as islands.
