Lino Lakes home damaged by fire Wednesday night
The fire happened on Red Clover Lane, and heavy smoke could be seen coming from the home.
Fire crews worked to put out a house fire in Lino Lakes on Wednesday night.
A 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS photographer at the scene saw smoke billowing from a home on Second Avenue and Red Clover Lane.
Lino Lakes Public Safety says crews were called to the area just before 10:15 p.m. There, crews found heavy smoke but learned that the people inside had already gotten out safely.
Firefighters found the fire in the home’s basement and called for a second alarm. They were then able to extinguish the flames.
Crews left the scene at 1:30 a.m.
Authorities say the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
