As many are wrapping up their holiday shopping this season, one organization is trying to bring joy to children and families in need across the world.
Christopher Pope, the senior area director of philanthropy for World Vision U.S. sat down with 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS reporter Alex Jokich to explain how the catalog works and how it can help people living in some of the poorest places in the world.
Many items, such as livestock, can give families the tools they need to “break the cycle of poverty and transform lives for generations” according to the World Vision website.
Items start at $10 and go up to multiple thousands of dollars.
