I-35W, Lowry bridges to light up for Labor Day
A couple of Minnesota landmarks will be illuminated Monday night in recognition of Labor Day.
The westbound Interstate 35 and Lowry Avenue bridges will be lit up in red, white and blue to celebrate the holiday and American workers.
The bridges are frequently illuminated to celebrate events.
Labor Day was created during the labor movement and is dedicated to the “social and economic achievements of American workers,” the U.S. Department of Labor says.
