Guatemalan man hit, killed while crossing highway in Sibley County
A pedestrian was hit and killed on Saturday night while crossing a highway in Sibley County, according to a Minnesota Department of Public Safety report.
The report says a man was crossing Highway 5 in Arlington when an SUV traveling west hit him. He died at the scene.
The man was identified as 62-year-old Higinio Carrillo Pabalo from Guatemala. His specific city of residence is unknown at this time.
The driver, a 30-year-old woman from Mankato, was not hurt.
