Family of dog mushers readies for the Beargrease

A family from Two Harbors is all-in on the upcoming John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon, and they're proving dog mushing isn't just a sport — it's a lifestyle.
Ero Wallin, 17, and his mother Colleen are competing in this year's race.
They told KSTP Ero grew up on a dog sled and Colleen has been around the Beargrease since the '90s. Now, for the second year, Ero is planning to compete in the junior Beargrease race.
Last year, Ero placed third among the teens in the 120-mile race.
The 36th running of the race starts 11 a.m. Sunday in Duluth.
