Brunch restaurant in Loring Park neighborhood closes storefront operations, catering still available

A breakfast and brunch restaurant in the Loring Park neighborhood of Minneapolis has closed.

The Bird said Monday on its Facebook page that its storefront operations are closed indefinitely. However, The Third Bird will still offer catering, breakfast and lunch delivery.

"Unfortunately, while The Bird was able to finally get off the ground with our breakfast and lunch business combined with being a night-time private party venue, we just didn't have the capital to make it through another winter," the restaurant said.
