Body pulled from St. Croix River near Hudson identified as missing vulnerable adult

UPDATE: Police have identified the body pulled from the St. Croix River on Wednesday as Hai Quoc Nguyen of River Falls, Wisconsin.

Nguyen, considered a vulnerable adult, had been missing since March 3 when he was last seen driving in downtown Hudson on March 3.

Police say human remains were recovered from the St. Croix River on Wednesday near Hudson.

Emergency crews pulled the body from the river after a 911 caller notified Hudson police around 9:30 a.m., the Hudson Police Department said.

The victim’s name and cause of death will be released once an autopsy is completed and family members have been notified, police said.
