Bar Luchador in Minneapolis latest to close its doors permanently
A restaurant in Stadium Village is the latest in a string of businesses permanently closing.
Bar Luchador in Minneapolis announced on Monday that it plans to permanently close.
"There is no easy way to say this, but Bar Luchador will not be reopening, we are closing the doors for good," a statement attributed to Angelo and the Bar Luchador family said, in part. "We could keep scratching and clawing our way through these strange weeks and months and try and keep fighting… but I really don't know what the restaurant world is going to look like when this is all said and done, and I just don't know if we would have been able to make it."
Last week, Lyn-Lake neighborhood staple Muddy Waters and the North Loop's Bachelor Farmer/Marvel Bar announced their permanent closures.
Meanwhile, Izzy's Ice Cream announced the permanent closure of its St. Paul location.
