2 arrested, hundreds of fentanyl-laced pills found following search of Willmar home
Authorities say two people have been arrested and are being held on multiple charges after their home was searched by a task force Monday in Willmar.
According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, members of the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force arrested a 32-year-old Willmar man and a 33-year-old Willmar woman after authorities say they found more than 600 pills that tested positive for fentanyl in a home located on the 400 block of 15th Street Southwest.
The sheriff’s office says it also found the man to be possessing a large amount of cash, which is believed to be from drug sales, as well as a loaded handgun near the drugs.
The pills that were found are said to be fake oxycodone M30 pills.
Multiple agencies helped the task force during the search.
