The impact caused caused the car to leave the ground, then roll.

Nelson was said to be wearing a seatbelt, and alcohol was not involved in the crash.
Cass County

The car then hit a road approach, left the ground, landed sideways and rolled.
The driver, a 17-year old boy from Remer, died after he was ejected from the vehicle.
