1 injured in shooting in Bloomington

A man suffered from a gunshot wound in Bloomington early Sunday morning.

According to the Bloomington Police Department, at 2:13 a.m., officers responded to shots fired at 2800 block of Southtown Drive.

Once officers arrived at the scene, they located a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his abdomen.

The victim was transported to the hospital and is currently in stable condition, said police.

No arrests have been made at this time.

The incident remains under investigation and anyone with information is to call the Bloomington Police.
