1 dead after motorcycle, truck collide in Andover

A man died Friday morning after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a pickup truck in Andover.
The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office says emergency responders were called to the area of Tulip Street Northeast and 173rd Lane Northwest at around 10:51 a.m.
According to the sheriff’s office, a man was driving a motorcycle north on Tulip Street when he crashed into an eastbound truck.
First responders provided emergency aid but the man died at the scene. The driver of the truck wasn’t hurt.
The victim was identified by the sheriff’s office as 48-year-old Eric David Nordstrom, of Oak Grove.
The crash remains under investigation.
