Free concert at the Commons prior to kickoff of Vikings season opener against Packers
The Minnesota Vikings are hosting a free outdoor concert near U.S. Bank Stadium before their season opener against the Green Bay Packers on Sept. 11.
Country musician Mitchell Tenpenny is headlining the free concert at the Commons. The Vikings cheerleaders and Skol Line will also take the stage.
Anyone can attend the concert, and no game ticket is needed.
Gates open at 10 a.m. and Tenpenny takes the stage at 1 p.m.
Kickoff for the game is at 3:25 p.m. The Week 1 game is the Vikings home opener and season opener.
