Boston Scientific to permanently lay off over 100 employees in Maple Grove

Boston Scientific Corporation is planning to lay off more than 100 employees at its Maple Grove location next year.

According to a notice filed with the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, the company will permanently lay off 106 employees beginning on or around Jan. 19, 2021.

The notice says the company’s decision to voluntarily recall and retire its LOTUS Edge Aortic Valve System led to the layoffs in that operational unit.
