Third sample from Minnesota tests negative for coronavirus

A third sample sent from Minnesota has tested negative for coronavirus, a state health official said.

Doug Schultz, a spokesman for the Minnesota Department of Health, told KSTP on Sunday that a third sample sent to the CDC tested negative for the novel coronavirus that originated in China. Two other samples from Minnesota have also tested negative, he said.

China’s death toll has passed 300, and the first death related to the virus was just reported in the Philippines.
