Sheriff’s office: 2 more arrested in drug-related shooting in Meeker County, 3 others arrested for controlled substances
Two more people have been arrested in connection to a shooting in Meeker County on Sunday night.
The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office said 18-year-old Elizabeth Smith and 45-year-old Nicole Radke were both arrested Tuesday in connection to the shooting. Eighteen-year-old Carl Leaf and 18-year-old Jaden Kramp were both arrested Monday.
The victim, identified as 34-year-old Tyeson Schaumburg, was airlifted from a local hospital to Hennepin County Medical Center after showing up at the hospital with a gunshot wound Sunday night.
Shooting critically injures Meeker County man; 2 arrested
As of Tuesday, Schaumburg was in critical but stable condition, the sheriff’s office said.
Detectives determined the shooting was drug-related.
Authorities executed a search warrant Tuesday in the 24200 block of 548th Avenue in Grove City and recovered a firearm used in the shooting, according to the sheriff’s office. Meth, marijuana and ecstasy were also found in the home, along with drug paraphernalia.
The sheriff’s office said three other people were also arrested for controlled substance violations. They were identified as 20-year-old Hunter Radke, 45-year-old Daniel Pinkerton and 48-year-old Shawn Denardo. They have all been booked in Meeker County Jail.
The investigation remains ongoing.
