Bullet goes through home and wounds woman in Minneapolis

The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one woman injured after bullet went through her home and hit her.

According to police spokesperson John Elder, officers responded Sunday night around 10:06 p.m. to a shots fired call on the 3100 block of Humboldt Avenue North. A woman was found with a gunshot wound not considered to be life-threatening and was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center by ambulance.

An investigation shows a bullet went through the house and hit the woman.

There are no arrests at this time, and police add it’s unknown if this was a random incident or targeted for the time being.
