Authorities identify man killed after being hit by train in Fridley

Authorities have identified the man who was killed after being hit by a train in Fridley Wednesday as 21-year-old Jason Thaddeus Clark.
According to the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, first responders were called just after 7:10 a.m. on the report of an Amtrak train hitting a person on the eastbound tracks in the area of Ashton Avenue Northeast.

When authorities arrived, they found Clark, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
