Man charged in death of Twin Cities realtor pleads not guilty

The man charged in the death of a Minneapolis realtor on New Year’s Eve pleaded not guilty to multiple charges Thursday.
According to court records, Berry Davis pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree murder, one count of first-degree attempted murder and one count of kidnapping in connection to the death of Monique Baugh.
Trial is set for January.
Baugh was found with multiple gunshot wounds and duct tape around her wrists in the 1300 block of Russell Avenue North in Minneapolis on Dec. 31 and was pronounced dead a short while later.
Three other suspects have been charged in Baugh’s death:
- Shante Cheriece Davis is charged with aiding an offender,
- Cedric Lamont Berry is charged with second-degree murder and kidnapping,
- Elsa Segura is charged with kidnapping.
