9-year-old dies in accident on family farm; services to be held in Deer River

Services will be held Sunday in Deer River for a 9-year-old who died after an accident on his family's farm.

According to his obituary, Marshall Charles Bader died Sunday at his home.

According to a release from the Cass County Sheriff's Office, the child was pinned under the arms of a skid steer loader. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

On its Facebook page, the Itasca County Sheriff's Office K9 stated authorities "would like to extend their thoughts and prayers to the Bader family."

Visitation and funeral services will take place 2-4 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church in Deer River.
