Wisconsin man sentenced for reckless homicide case, attempted jail escape
A Wisconsin man who was charged in connection to a reckless homicide case, and later for attempting to escape jail, was sentenced Tuesday.
According to court records, Brandon Lieffring was sentenced to just over 18 years in prison, nine years to be served in prison and the rest of the sentence to be served under supervised release.

Lieffring was charged in connection to a July 6, 2019, crash that killed a motorcyclist while he was trying to run from deputies in St. Croix County, Wisconsin.
He was later charged again in August after deputies had learned he tried to escape jail.
