Hopkins star basketball player Paige Bueckers’ list of accolades got a little longer Monday.
Gatorade named Bueckers the 2020 National Girls Basketball Player of the Year with a little help from Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns.

Bueckers, who is ranked as the No. 1 basketball player in the country in the 2020 high school class, is committed to the University of Connecticut for college.
